The foremost and prominent press outlet in the soil of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, PEN PRESS UDUS is set to hold her Pen Day 2024 on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
The event which will mark the end of incumbent administration led by Abdulrasheed Akere, the Editor-In-Chief or EIC will come up on the announced date at PTF Hall, opposite FAIS building in the university main campus from 10:00 AM.
Pen Day is an annual celebration organized by PEN PRESS UDUS — one of the five and leading campus press outfits under the National Association of Campus Journalists (NACJ). It is a day set aside to celebrate student journalism as well as recognise outstanding members of the outfit and the university community at large.
Many educational activities will be conducted on the day, such as: Launching of pen magazine, BP debate, presentation of awards and certificates, unveiling new principal officials, among others.
PEN PRESS would welcome guests from UDUS campus and beyond including lecturers, students, and campus journalists.
