Dr Ibrahim Baba Shatambaya was glad to receive the Pen Press executive in his office. He appreciated the Pen Press members for their extraordinary vision and mission, which served as a motivation for the upcoming generation.
He encouraged the executive to continue with the legacy being laid down” for every student or student’s journalist to be a successful writer or journalist, reading should be part and parcel of such a person because one of the impact of reading, is to be thoughtful and rational in thinking”
“The way of thinking of such a person will always be different from that of an ordinary human being. And being a Press member, writing is a critical skill that carries weight,” he added.
Speaking further, he said,” Pen Press has a wide wing across the country to the extent that the Pen press UDUS is not a new media outlet. So, journalism is a super ordinary profession, and those that are professionals are always eager to support people who are coming”
“However, university education doesn’t end on academic certificates alone but with skills and talents on how to utilize it, to discover and rediscover yourself. For every human being, a huge asset is the mind. Many individuals look at opportunities with their eyes, but they don’t train their minds. Once someone fails to train the mind, it will be very difficult for such a person to achieve one of those physical opportunities,” he added.
