AMIDST ASUU STRIKE:
DANFODIYO STUDENTS HOLD A RETREAT IN KADUNA

The students of Usmanu Danfodiyo University who are currently undergoing their Students industrial working experience scheme (SIWES) at Kaduna refining and petrochemical company (KRPC) has on 20th-December held a  retreat to discuss and share ideas on issues that’ll ameliorate their future.

Lawal Jamiu Olakunle of the department of Microbiology,while presenting the opening remark praised the ingenuity of his fellow Danfodites for organizing an historic gathering; a first of all it kinds in the reputable organization.

He further  urged his fellow Danfodites to make Judicious and effective use of their time during this indefinite strike being embark by ASUU”.

 He also urged them “ Not to limit themselves to the four walls of the classroom, as life out there is beyond what is being taught in the classrooms and urge them to culminate good behavioral activities”.

The president of Society of Chemistry Student Association of Nigeria(SCSN) Idris Ibrahim; also urged the student to be a good ambassador of the institution.
He noted that, many great men have been the product of the school

In an additional contribution; Zainab Sani of Zoology Department urged students to be “prayerful, hardworking and perseverance and not to be discouraged with low grades but rather double their efforts”.

In a closing remark, the anchor of the event; Usman Idris Abdus-salam (Useey-Baba) expressed his gratitude to fellow Danfodites  for trooping out in Massive in order to make the event a success and memorable.
