The Nigerian movie market has been producing some wonderful movies in the last couple of years, and Pennace is not left behind. Running for 1 hour and 44 minutes, this drama film tells the story of Alice Martin, a corper, who is exposed to a traumatic experience by her boss, Mr. Majekodunmi.

The movie addresses responsibility, power struggle, and the consequences of what one does. The cast members, Uzoamaka Onuoha, Wale Ojo, and Nonso Bassey, are fantastic and present solid performances that provide depth and nuance to the story.

One of the standout aspects of Pennace is its thought-provoking storyline. The movie raises important questions about the abuse of power and the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions. The detective, Festus, plays a crucial role in uncovering the truth and ensuring that justice is served.

The movie also has good picture quality, attire, and music, to ensure it is a visually appealing film to watch. Generally, Pennace is a believable movie that tackles important issues and features decent performances from its actors.

Nonso Bassey

Nonso Bassey is a versatile singer, actor, and model. He is from Calabar and has an Igbo father and an Efik mother. Bassey attended the International Secondary School in Calabar and later graduated from Covenant University with a degree in English and Literary Studies.

Bassey is also a renowned movie actor, who played the leading parts in movies such as “Femme Anjok” and “Inside Life.” Bassey has also received various accolades, among which is being nominated for a Best Actor in a Leading Role category in the 2021 AMAA Awards.

 

Uzoamaka Onuoha

Uzoamaka Onuoha is a talented Nigerian actress and voice-over artist. She comes from Imo State and speaks English, Pidgin, and Igbo languages. She graduated in Theatre and Film from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and has since appeared in several films, including “Inside Life,” “Blood Sister,” and “Ordinary Fellow.”

Wale Ojo

Wale Ojo is a British-Nigerian thespian who began acting from childhood days in the film industry. He commenced at age 8 before he migrated with his family to England, where he attended university.

Ojo has appeared in some top movies, including “The Hard Case,” “Alter Ego,” and “Christmas in Lagos.” He won the Best Actor gong at the 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and has since established himself as a well-known actor of Nigerian movies.

In general, Pennace is a movie worth watching that addresses significant themes and has great performances from its cast. With its innovative storyline and decent production quality, this film is bound to leave a lasting impression on its audience.
