The newly appointed Students’ Union Caretaker Committee (SU-CTC) of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) paid a visit to the university’s Dean of Student Affairs (DSA), Prof. Umar Aliyu on Monday, September 04, 2023.
Information gathered by PEN PRESS UDUS behold that the purpose of the visit is for the members of the newly appointed SU caretaker committee to introduce themselves to the DSA and appreciate him for the golden opportunity given to them to serve the students.
During the visitation, Comrade Abdullahi Sanusi, the chairman of the union stated some problems facing the students and the DSA promised to intervene on it as soon as possible.
The DSA, Prof. Umar Aliyu advised all the committee members to work together in unity which he termed as the only way they can use to achieve the tasks given to them. He charged them to be proactive and steadfast in discharging their duties and assured them of unrelenting and unflinching support.
