Teniola Apata, professionally known by her stage name as Teni or Teni The Entertainer is a Nigerian singer, song writer and entertainer who realesed a single song tittled “Money” on the 24th of January, 2025.
Teni’s song exclusively prioritized money in this single by saying “I’ll rather be crying in a Bentley // Sipping on my Hennessey // Drying all my tears with some 100 dollars bills // Feeling down in fendi sad but I got plenty money for the pain in the world”
But just a month after the she released that hit single, Teni battled chronic malaria which made her shared videos of herself receiving medical attention including drips and injections, she revealed that she didn’t eat for two weeks due to this illness.
She also called on elegunshi of Kate to address mosquito problem in the area.
” I was down with malaria, Oba elegunshi we need to find something and do about the mosquitoes in Ikate” She jokingly said.
Teni also shared her perseverance story on how she went to a show in Ondo amidst her Illness because she couldn’t refund the money ” amidst that, I still went to Ondo because who will feed me?” She narrated.
“Indeed money can’t buy health ” Natizen commented.
Dj Snidzy commented that ” Can you see that is not good to cry in a Bentley, health is wealth!”
